Iyashi is a Japanese word that speaks to healing the body and lifting the spirit. In this podcast three practitioners based in Japan explore the traditions, rituals and everyday practices behind it.
The Iyashi Podcast began after Sellisha attended a Daruma Vision™ retreat run by Lana and Nanako, and left convinced their different practices belonged in conversation with each other. Sellisha brings her inclusive wellbeing and a decade of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion expertise, Lana brings leadership and emotional intelligence shaped by a lifetime navigating Japanese and Russian culture, and Nanako brings sound therapy and brain-based coaching, drawing on her experience as a former COO and professional flamenco dancer to explore how we recover from stress and reconnect with ourselves.
Together, they examine Japanese iyashi traditions from three distinct angles, contextualising them for UK audiences while offering Japanese practitioners a fresh lens on their own traditions.
Iyashi lives in the ordinary, everyday life.
