The co-hosts

Three practitioners, three lenses.

No single organisation could replicate this combination of lived experience. Each co-host runs their own practice outside the podcast; here's where their work comes from.

Sellisha Lockyer

Sellisha Lockyer

Founder, Sorabird Co (London & Nagano)

Sellisha is the founder of Sorabird Co, a UK-registered, mission-led inclusive wellbeing company serving organisations in the UK and Japan. She brings a decade of equality-focused practice spanning DEI consultancy, in-house inclusion work, and campaigning on intersectionality, race and gender equity, all of which underpins Sorabird Co's approach.

Sorabird Co works both Inside Out and Outside In: supporting minoritised employees directly through wellbeing sessions and inclusive therapy partnerships, while transforming organisational culture through inclusion training and structural assessment. Based in Nagano, Sellisha brings the podcast's inclusive wellbeing lens, an awareness of power, identity and the nervous system, and a belief that healing is collective.

Nanako Aramaki

Nanako Aramaki

Founder, Zensō (Tokyo)

Nanako is the founder of Zensō, a Tokyo-based sound therapy and wellness coaching practice. Its name combines two kanji, 禅 (Zen), stillness and present-moment awareness, and 奏 (sō), to play music, expressing a space where sound restores the mind and body to balance.

A certified sound therapist and wellness coach, Nanako works with Tibetan singing bowls to regulate the nervous system and support clients through burnout, life transitions and chronic stress. Through Zensō, she offers individual sessions and group sound baths, and as the Director of Wellbeing at Rocklit, she leads the sound immersions of their corporate programmes and co-facilitates them with Lana. Born in Tokyo and raised in Canada, with six years living and working in the UK before returning to Japan, her perspective simultaneously triangulates Japanese, Canadian and British cultural experience.
